The author suggests that you ignore what does not apply to your personal walk and add that which does,all with the Holy Spirit's guidance Ask Him! You are also encouraged to base your prayers on what God has shown you about the issues and circumstances that currently are confronting you. Reading the scriptures provided along with those He has given to you personally before you pray, will shrink your doubt and unbelief while it strengthens your faith.
