To get this secret he must learn all of the spells of Odin. This leads him on a quest that brings Hel, the daughter of Loki, to Denmark where she makes a prophesy about Argi and his magical family. "The Death of King Ragnar Lothbrok", the true story --Ragnar is captured by the King of Northumbria who tasks a priest with recording his life story before he is executed. The abbot is a secret descendant of Argi; the tale that he hears is shocking. Retribution comes from Denmark, yet even amid the horrors of war the magical family survives.
